What is YPN (Young Professionals Network)?
YPN (Young Professionals Network) is network of events, programs and platforms of connection and education for young professionals (YPs) who do work in or work for a Lancaster County business.
Created as a program of the Lancaster Chamber to attract and retain young professionals, YPN has grown to enhance the professional experience of young talent across Lancaster County. With opportunities to network and enrich career development, YPN also exists to inspire young professionals to take an active role in shaping the future of Lancaster County.
VISION
Understanding & appreciating the vital role that developing young professionals plays in recognizing Lancaster County as a model of prosperity.
MISSION
To attract and retain young talent within Lancaster County by providing space and resources to cultivate the next generation of business and community leaders through connection and education.
PILLARS
Engage – Develop the necessary business or professional relationships to create lasting connections early in a professional career that will impacts future goals.
Educate – Give young professionals the tools and development to create sustainable change in their business, organization, and our community, establishing a progressive professional edge.
Empower – Create civic leaders by encouraging awareness of community challenges and opportunities, providing opportunities for participation, and igniting a passion for Lancaster.
How does it work?
Any YP (of age, or at heart), is automatically a “member” of the Young Professionals Network. We encourage young professionals across Lancaster County to engage, at varying levels, with the programs and platforms we offer for connection & development

Upcoming Events
Join us this June for our first ever Young Professionals Network (YPN) Summit! Our hybrid YPN Summit will bring Young Professionals from across Lancaster County together for professional development and networking opportunities. You create your own Summit experience by choosing content staggered across four days, customized to your interests and schedule.
Changemakers will equip and inspire you to lead where you’re at and drive sustainable, positive change in your workplace. Connect with other Young Professionals online and in-person through designated breakout sessions and networking opportunities, learn from the compelling stories and experiences of local leaders, and participate in thoughtful dialogue with your peers.
